What is a Mini Session?
A mini session is just that, a short session. Normally, portrait sessions last 1-2 hours at least. A mini session is a shorter time that lets you have the advantage of a professional photographer without incurring the cost of a full session.
Why would I want a mini session?
Mini sessions are great for specific things such as Mother's day, Father's day, holiday cards, quick family photos, gifts or a photo to celebrate the occasion at hand! Different mini sessions will be offered throughout the year depending on need and interest.
Who can do a mini session?
Anyone! Adults, kids, pets, best friends, couples, families, mother-daughter, father-son etc.
How does a Mini Session day work?
Mini sessions run every half hour. There will be a few minutes in-between families so the “Set” can be rearranged and families can come and go with ease. Because this schedule is tight it is important that you show up 10 minutes early for your scheduled time slot. That allows for any slight traffic delays and wardrobe checks that need to happen.
Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself, your family and a sense of fun! Sometimes things can get a little delayed so a little patience is good too!
What should I wear?
I suggest picking a color palette and dressing everyone in that palette. You want to avoid too many family members in patters, they can be distracting in photographs.
How long is a mini session?
Mini sessions last up to 20 minutes. If you have young children count on using all of that time. If you are a couple it may not take that long to get the images you want but we will use all the time and you will get some great images.
What if I want all of the photos from my mini session?
You can purchase all of the photos in your session for an additional $50.
Do I need to sign anything?
There will be a contract & model release to sign at the time of your session.
What if I need to cancel?
If you can't make it to your session, I ask that you give me 24 hours notice.
When will I get my images?
No later than midnight on the day of your shoot.
What if I want more than 20 minutes and more than 6 images?
You can book a full portrait session with me! Full sessions start at $350 for 1 hour. Contact me to book a session!
Can I print my pictures wherever I want?
Of course! You will be given a digital print release along with your photos. Just be aware that the quality of printers & labs vary, so the final outcome may appear different than what you see on your screen.
